Samsung’s May 2023 update infuriates Galaxy users!
Brands release software updates to improve product performance. However, sometimes it can have the opposite effect and lead to problems with certain devices. According to user complaints, Samsung’s May 2023 update seems to fall into this category.
On Samsung’s official support page, many Galaxy model phone users, especially those with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, reported seeing a vertical line in green/pink/white colors on the screen after installing the update. It was learned that this issue only occurred on models with panels produced by Samsung.
A Galaxy S20 user, whose location is unknown, stated that they went to a technical service center for this problem. They mentioned being asked to pay 31,000 units for a screen replacement. However, it is unknown which currency this refers to.
Galaxy users experiencing this issue are lodging complaints to Samsung via Twitter. It is expected that the brand will release a new update in the coming days to resolve the problem of the line appearing on the screen.
